Who are we?

The FP&A division is around 30 people who provide strategic financial insights, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis, while managing treasury operations and HQ finance. It also delivers finance support to projects implemented in Denmark or from HQ, lead the development and implementation of finance policies and processes and offer specialized business support for the budget to report aspects of DRC Dynamics to support informed decision-making and drive financial performance.

 

About the job

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating key global financial processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement and support our organizational goals.

 

  • Business Process Owner: Lead Budget to Report Business Process Board (finance and project management) to ensure alignment with organisational strategy. Coordinate Business Process Experts, Dynamics 365 experts and DRC global community of testers to drive prioritised and continuous process improvement.
  • Global Statutory Audit Process Coordinator: Oversee and coordinate the organisational annual audit process, ensuring timely and accurate inputs to management letter and addressing audit findings. Collaborate with relevant teams in the creation, review, and automation of financial statements to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Other Danish Regulatory and Statutory Reporting: Complete statutory and regulatory reporting requirements in a timely and compliant manner, in line with relevant laws and standards.
  • Ad-Hoc Financial Tasks: Lead and support cross-functional financial projects and ad-hoc tasks, improving processes and supporting business needs.

 

About you

Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required

  • Solid background in financial management, ideally within an INGO or an international organization.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and a good understanding of their architecture and financial data.
  • Experience generating statutory and regulatory reports for external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to provide thoughtful insights and contribute to financial decision-making.
  • Expert fluency in English
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and networking skills.
  • University degree or equivalent in a relevant area such as finance, business management, or accounting.

The position is permanent.

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and AC (agreement for Academics). This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply.
