We are seeking a Security Culture & Awareness Associate to champion a strong security mindset across the organisation. In this role, you will design and deliver high-impact awareness campaigns, training programs, and engagement initiatives that turn complex cyber concepts into clear, memorable, and actionable behaviours. Leveraging creative communication, storytelling, and evidence-based behavioural strategies, you will ensure that security is embedded in daily practices and recognised as a critical part of the organisation’s operations.

 

You will analyse human risk patterns, develop targeted strategies to mitigate them, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to foster a culture of accountability and resilience. This is an opportunity to shape how our people understand, embrace, and consistently apply security principles, strengthening both individual and organisational security posture while leaving a tangible impact on the bank’s overall cyber resilience.

 

Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate across Business, Capability and Engineering teams to document a comprehensive understanding and awareness of upcoming changes, ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Assess the impact of change, potential barriers and develop change management strategies to support the smooth adoption of new solutions.
  • Create and maintain a network of business contacts, fostering strong relationships within the business to drive support for change initiatives.
  • Measure the effectiveness of security culture change management efforts, track progress and continuously refine strategies to improve outcomes
  • Design, measure, communicate and execute adoption and change programs to increase the usage and proficiency of solutions, ensuring that the solutions are adopted effectively across the business.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user-friendly documentation in alignment with industry best practices, empowering end-users to confidently navigate new tools.
  • Lead business stakeholder meetings, providing regular updates on adoption progress and gathering feedback to highlight areas for improvement.
  • Create and distribute engaging content across various communication channels (emails, intranet, webinars, etc.), adapting to modern communication methods to ensure wide reach and engagement.
  • Manage the T-minus communication activities for Capability, ensuring the right messages are delivered at the right time to prepare employees for upcoming changes.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and Business Product Owners, ensuring their needs are understood and aligned with business objectives throughout change initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback, provide progress updates, and ensure stakeholder alignment on security culture change and adoption efforts.
  • Serve as the key contact for communication related to security culture change and adoption, ensuring transparency and responsiveness across all levels of the organisation.

 

Knowledge and Education

 

  • Strong understanding of key change management frameworks and methodologies and experience in driving their application in IT business transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in driving user adoption of new tools and processes, ensuring long-term usage and proficiency through proven strategies.
  • Proficient in designing and delivering training materials across a wide range of modern communication platforms (e.g., video storytelling, social media, internal channels) and their strategic use in engaging stakeholders and promoting change.
  • Skilled at facilitating change and adoption workshops to gather feedback, share updates, and ensure alignment and buy-in on change efforts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive successful adoption and ensure business outcomes.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in Technology change management and user adoption efforts, particularly in environments introducing new technologies or processes.
  • Proven experience working with diverse teams (e.g., product, IT, business stakeholders) across complex Technology products to drive and manage change, ensuring smooth adoption across various departments.
  • Practical experience in developing training materials and leading training sessions to ensure users are well-prepared to adopt new systems and processes.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Change Management, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) are desirable at this level.
  • Solid experience in business transformation initiatives, particularly those focused on technology or process adoption.
