In June 2022, Impactpool will host the annual virtual career event for Latin American and Caribbean Nationals (LAC). With the purpose of supporting international organizations that seek to diversify their talent pipelines, and empower candidates from the region who currently pursuing a career with a positive impact.

Join us on Thursday 9th of June and take advantage of this unique opportunity to engage directly with HR recruiters at leading international organizations.

It is widely recognized that the development and humanitarian sectors struggle to attract truly diverse talent. Many international organizations recruit from the same list of universities and networks that tend to lack significant racial and ethnic diversity. Tapping directly into talent from low-income and marginalized communities is one step towards a truly diverse and inclusive workforce.

For decades, Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) have been characterized as the most unequal region in the world.  LAC is a diverse region with significant economic potential and growth opportunities. In recent years, LAC has gradually evolved into an exceptional market for doing business. Its region encompasses some of the fastest-growing economies in the world, such as Mexico, Brazil, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Guyana, Haiti, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Panama, and Colombia, among others. The quality of education in many LAC countries has improved dramatically ―thanks to improvements in educational programs― enabling students and professionals to acquire the right knowledge and work skills to contribute with an impact, recent recruitment trends show that qualified professionals from the LAC region are some of the most in-demand.
