CTG is looking for a qualified ICT Innovation Support for our operations. This role is being advertised for talent pool building purposes, once the project goes live, only those candidates that are shortlisted will be contacted.
Role objectivesUnder the direct supervision of the immediate supervisor, the selected candidate will undertake the following tasks:
Identify & evaluate emerging technologies relevant to the organization's goals.
Provide technical expertise & support for the adoption of innovative solutions.
Helps to drive innovation by assisting in the shaping of demand for technologies that increase business / mission value, effectiveness & efficiencies.
Manages & maintains a comprehensive electronic database of software licenses.
Facilitate training sessions to enhance the IT team's skills in emerging technologies.
Establish a framework for continuous monitoring & evaluation of ICT innovations.
Provides support on analyzing & evaluating the current business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement by gathering, validating & documenting business requirements as well as creating initiatives depending on the business’s requirements & needs by presenting ideas & findings in meetings.
Act as a liaison between the FTS & business units to ensure mutual understanding.
Set up meetings with the business liaison & other key stakeholders by clearly specifying objective of the meeting & gather critical information to produce useful reports.
Maintains comprehensive filing system of statements & correspondence for all new systems.
Creating visual concepts & layouts based on project requirements.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
This role reports to the line manager.
Key competenciesHigh school diploma or degree / diploma plus certification / diploma or other supplemental academic qualifications or training.
Proven communication skills, including the ability to prepare a range of reports & communications & to conduct presentations.
Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to establish & maintain effective working relations in a multi cultural, multi ethnic environment with sensitivity & respect for diversity.
Keeps abreast of available technology.
Understands applicability & limitations of technology to the work of the office.
Actively seeks to apply technology to appropriate tasks.
Shows willingness to learn new technology.
This role has no team management responsibility.
