Under the overall supervision of the project manager/HSO and direct supervision of the Migration Health officer and Migration Health Assistant (Data & Reporting), in coordination with the Health facility In charge (Head) coordinator in the LGA the incumbent will support the overall health activities, service delivery, development and coordination of all IOM BHA project. He/she shall coordinate planned health outreaches, coordinate training planning/logistics, collate patient/hospital data/records. He/she shall provide leadership and guidance in establishing the highest standards of care and ensuring optimal delivery of quality care in line with international best practices. He/she will undertake the below tasks as mentioned in the TOR
Role objectivesUnder the overall supervision of the project manager/HSO in Yola and direct supervision of the Migration Health officer in Abuja.
University degree MBBS with Fellowship with either colleges of WACS or NPMCN with a minimum of three years relevant clinical experience
A valid license to practice in Nigeria
Excellent technical skills with at least Minimum of three years of continuous practice post‐fellowship, registered to practice in Nigeria and with a valid registration license in hospital or health setting
Proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relations with relevant Government counterparts, international organizations and private sector entities
Previous work experience with UN, International organizations and companies would be an advantage preferably within the United Nations or within the international humanitarian sector
Training and experience in ANC, CMR, SRHR, including SGBV, first-aid and emergency health is an advantage
Computer literacy required: MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Access
Good knowledge of clinical care especially in the Primary or secondary Health Care settings
Good communication skills and proven ability in working in a team
Counselling, health promotion, public health or migration health skills/experience is a plus
Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision; ability to work with tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to maintain detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
Fluency in English (oral and written) and Hausa is required

This role does not have any team management responsibility.
