Accounting Specialist

We are currently in search of an experienced and team-oriented individual to join our dynamic Finance team in Santiago de Chile. Your role will be crucial, as you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate accounting process, working in close collaboration with team members and support during the forthcoming implementation of a new ERP system.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities shall be:

• Keep accurate accounting records of incoming and outgoing payments to the organization.
• Support payroll activities as required by the organization.
• Handle timely general ledger bookkeeping in compliance with ESO rules and regulations.
• Communicate with internal customers to discuss account statuses, charges or discrepancies.
• Support the weekly payment process.

Team Leader Accounting and Treasury / Finance Officer

Key Competences and Experience:

Essential Competences and Experience:

• At least 4 years of related experience on international companies.
• Experience working with ERP systems and the Microsoft Office Package (especially MS Excel)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.>

Desirable Competences and Experience:

• User experience of Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Qualifications:

University degree in accounting or finance.

Language skills:

The position requires a working level proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken communication skills)

The initial contract is for a fixed term duration of two (2) years and is subject to medical clearance and successful completion of the probation period. There is the possibility of an indefinite extension, subject to performance evaluation and operational needs. The title or grade may be subject to change according to qualifications and the number of years of experience of the selected candidate.

Duty Station:

The duty station is Santiago. Applicants should be resident in Chile.

Career Path:

This position has been assessed to be in Career path 4 which covers 3 grades.
