CIMMYT is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and service-oriented professional for the position of HR Assistant to work in the Human Resources Department.
The positions will be based at CIMMYT’s headquarters in Texcoco, near Mexico City.
Specific duties:
- Execute the HR administrative services related to the Local Recruited Staff and consultants of the assigned portfolio/client group, throughout the Staff employment period onboarding, offboarding, consultancy and student process).
- Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates for the recruiting process.
- Assisting in the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews
- Support in the organization of initiatives and activities to increase employee morale, engagement, and retention, including wellness programs and team-building events.
- Support in the implementation of induction, training and staff development plans based on the analysis of training needs and evaluate the effectiveness of the training.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- The selected candidate must have 1 year in various HR functions such as training, recruitment.
- The selected candidate must have a knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Upper-intermediate proficiency in English, both written and conversational, with an expected minimum CEFR level of B2 (evaluation required).The selected candidate must exhibit the following competencies: Organization, Critical thinking, Teamwork, Problem-solving, Client Orientation, and Communication.
