You are responsible for improvements in the onboarding and induction areas for all the MSF OCA (Operational Center Amsterdam) workforce, by developing and implementing programs. You report to Head of HR Learning & Development / Learning & Development Coordinator.
In your role you will
- Be the expert in induction and onboarding, analyse where the organisation stands with regard to specific people development area, in light of its mission and strategy, and you drive the development and implementation of an induction and onboarding programme
- Build commitment to your proposed approach and underlying analysis. You work closely with the OCA leadership to this end and advise them on how to implement the approach and maintaining the engagement of both them and their teams
- Select external parties for specific program parts, you shape the partnership, manage their performance and evaluate results
- Keep yourself informed on developments in the onboarding and induction area and apply this knowledge and skills to innovate your strategy
- Be responsible planning, organising and the delivery of the course delivered to staff before their first assignment to the country programme and you will be responsible of the overall content of the course
- Be part of the intersectional induction and onboarding group (WIN)
- Be responsible of planning, organising and being the learning facilitator for Intersectional Workshops and the L&D Focal point for the intersectional surgical group
- Work with the learning and development advisors to align development and learning
You Have
- BSc/MSc in (an area related to) people development, educational sciences
- 5 years of experience in the assigned people development area
- Relevant experience in the MSF humanitarian field experience is desirable
- In-depth knowledge of adult learning and development principles
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Highly organized, dynamic and structured
- Very creative and strategic thinker and an independant and automonus worker
- Willingness to travel when necessary

- Payment according to a transparent internal salary structure; in this position according to group 4 with full-time employment (40h/week) from 3.933 Euro to a maximum of 4.975, depending on the relevant professional experience
