About the role:
We are looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning Officer to join our Country Programme Team. Reporting to the NTD technical Assistant, the incumbent will monitor adherence and complinace with established national regulations and standards and achievement of quality standards through monitoring and evaluation and other reviews. The position is only filled locally in CBM South Sudan. Contractual conditions of the country will be applied. An expatriation is not intended.

These are your responsibilities
- Develop a systematic MEL framework to improve the qualitative and quatitative evidence gathered by the project.
- Develop related tools that cover assessment of performance indicators and benchmarks.
- Put systems and mechanisms in place for collection and analyis of data in by the project partners.
- Provide technical training and coaching on M&E and ensure understanding of monitoring, evaluation and learning.
- Provide technical assistance on MEL to the implementing partners.
- Supporting the Programs team to develop a learning agenda that documents and shares lessons with internal and external audiences via suitable platforms.
- Supporting the production of high quality.
These are your qualifications
- Degree in community development, public health, social or development related studies.
- Experience in health-related programmes is required; experience in NTD programme is preferrable.
- Qualification and experience in MEL.
- At least 6 years' experience in similar role.
- Solid understanding of project cycle management.
- Literate in data analysis specifically of NTD surveys and assessments.
- Proven skills to present analysis in a digestible and accessible format considering different audiences.
- Experience working with international NGOs or international development organisations.
- Sound knowledge of requirements of major international development organisations, such as the END Fund and USAID.
- Experience in training and facilitating stakeholder learning.
- Understanding and experience in supporting the role of communities and non-governmental sector.
- Identification with Christian values an the mandate of CBM.
