About this position

The Technology and Transformation Department (TTD/TDS) is seeking an IT professional to provide local IT support for VIP/Executive Users at our Headquarters (HQ) office

TTD/TDS is compromised to facilitate the Bank’s mission to improve lives by delivering added value to the business through IT solutions in headquarters and the country offices, including infrastructure and services.

What you’ll do

  1. Mobile Line Management: Oversee the management of corporate mobile lines in HQ, ensuring efficient allocation, activation, and deactivation processes. Monitor usage, optimize costs, and handle any issues related to service providers.
  2. Procurement of Devices: Manage the procurement process for mobile devices in HQ. This includes sourcing and ensuring timely delivery of equipment to meet organizational needs.
  3. Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of procured devices and mobile lines in HQ, ensuring that inventory is controlled and well-managed.
  4. Customer Service: Respond promptly to incoming calls, emails, and IT service needs from IDBG Front Officers and TTD users.
  5. Vendor Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact with AT&T to address mobile service providers issues.
  6. Project Support: Collaborate with other departments during bulk purchases and upgrades of mobile devices.
  7. Liaison: Act as a liaison between TTD team members and AT&T to manage and administer bank lines.
  8. Documentation: Ensure that operational documentation is current and properly registered in tickets, reports, etc., as required.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve the management of mobile lines and procurement processes, implementing best practices and staying informed of industry trends.

What you'll need

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent advanced degree) or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
  • Additional Education:

          MS Windows 11, MS O365, Teams Rooms, communication platforms, mobile devices (Android/iOS), MS Active Directory, VMWare/VDI, and workstation maintenance.

          ITIL processes for incident, service request, and knowledge management.  ITIL certification is a plus.

          ISO 9001:2015 and continuous improvement frameworks is a plus.

  • Experience: 2 years of relevant profesional experience.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries. 

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Type of contract and duration

Type of contract: International Consultant Full-Time.

Length of contract: 12 months (Up to 36 months of contract)

Work Location: On site, Washington D.C.
