AIIB Project and Corporate Finance Department, Global (PCF) team is responsible for originating and executing non-sovereign backed project and corporate financing transactions across the range of AIIB-covered sectors and geographies.  

Responsibilities:

The main objectives of the internship include:  

  1. Support the PCF team members on projects and investment opportunities, including: 
  • Perform research and analysis assigned by team members. 
  • Support projects with formatting text, charts, table of the project documents. 
  • Support financial statement analysis and preparation/review of financial models.  
  • Assist in arranging business trips and external meetings and prepare relevant materials for these meetings, including presentations, memos, reports, and meeting minutes.  
  • Assist in arranging, coordinating, and participation in internal meetings. 
  • Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by team members. 

       2.Create an individual internal investment presentation to support the knowledge and business development needs of the PCF team. The investment presentation would be presented to the PCF team at the end of the internship. The presentation would include:  

  • A key sector or industry focus that is aligned with the Bank’s investment focus or priorities.  
  • A deep dive into the topic, including up to date research, advantages, and disadvantages. 

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Masters/MBA or PhD program, preferably specialized in Finance, Economics, and related majors.  
  • Passion for international development finance.  
  • Interest in project and/or corporate finance.  
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Great team player. 
  • Fluent in oral and written English.
