As Knowledge and Innovation Manager you will support the implementation of the ADB-CGIAR Clearing House facility project by providing overall leadership in the knowledge management component of the project, including the development and deployment of an appropriate database platform that collates and curates the different CGIAR climate-smart agriculture (CSA) technologies and innovations and the relevant pool of experts from within the CGIAR.
You will also spearhead the development and implementation of knowledge systems to effectively make use of best practices information and lessons learned from different scaling of innovation programs to guide the clearing house project.
The position will be based in Manila, Philippines and may only be filled by permanent citizens of the Philippines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement knowledge management strategies to capture, organize, and disseminate insights from agricultural innovation scaling projects in support of the ADB-CGIAR Clearinghouse project objectives.
- Develop and maintain systems for tracking progress, project monitoring, documenting lessons learned, and best practices related to scaling agricultural technologies, including models employed by the CGIAR, such as the TAAT and AICCRA programs, among others in Africa. Collaboration and Coordination
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to curate high-quality content, and resources (e.g., available CSA technologies, country-specific priorities in agriculture, relevant expertise, etc.) for internal and external use.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Develop tools, templates, and guidelines to support the replication and adaptation of successful scaling models
- Coordinate with project teams and external stakeholders to document scalable agricultural solutions and their enabling factors as well as other innovations, practices and expertise.
- Collaborate with partners to identify, document, and curate barriers to scaling of CSA innovations as well as other innovations, practices and expertise.
- Ensure knowledge systems and databases are tailored to support scaling pathways, with a focus on inclusion, sustainability, resilience, and rural transformation.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of databases and data collection tools to support data-driven decision-making for scaling agricultural innovations and the development of country investible packages by the partner international financial institution (IFI).
- Ensure databases are user-friendly, scalable, and secure, while enabling real-time access to critical information.
- Coordinate closely with IT teams and developers to integrate systems, ensuring interoperability with existing platforms, including but not limited to the CGIAR Project Reporting and Management System (PRMS) or its successor
Regularly update and maintain databases while incorporating feedback

KEY SKILLS:
- Track record in database development, database management, data analytics.
- Expertise in data management, database development and design, and analytics
- Proficient in processing and synthesizing data to support the design of country investment packages, policy recommendations, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication and reporting skills
- Strong familiarity with CGIAR project reporting systems and platforms, innovations database, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or any related field with at least 7 years of relevant experience working in agricultural research, rural development, data management, data analysis, and analytics
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or any related field with at least 10 years of relevant experience working in agricultural research, rural development, data management, data analysis, and analytics
