The Multinational Force and Observers seeks an experienced Head of Procurement who will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the MFO’s objectives. Leading a team of four, he/she will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, acquire goods and services in a timely and efficient manner, prepare, award and manage all Force contracts, as well as manage the budget for the Labor Support contracts and prepare reports on procurement activities and performance metrics for senior management.

Experience Required

The successful candidate must have:

·         A degree in procurement with training in contract administration and membership

of a professional body;

·         10+ years’ experience leading a procurement team; 

·         Experience of drafting tender documentation and managing labor support and construction contracts;

He/she must also have highly developed leadership and management and excellent communication skills, fluent spoken and written English, strong problem-solving ability and advanced SAP skills in procurement and budget management.
