Driver

The InternationalPotato Center(CIP) is seeking one Driver tosupportthe operations team atCIP-China for Asia Pacific (CCCAP).

About the role

This position will be based in CCCAP Downtown office at Haidian District, Beijing. Under the overall supervision of the director of CCCAP, the direct supervision and guidance of the Operation Officer of CCCAP. This position requires the ideal candidate to work in CCCAP 40 hours per week based on the tasks assigned by the operation team, performs the tasks described below, Key responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will mainly focus on these tasks/responsibilities below: Vehicle Operation

• Safely operate assigned vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and organizational policies.

• Maintain full control of the vehicle under various road and weather conditions. • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checks on tire pressure, fluid levels, lights, brakes, and other essential components, ensuring the vehicle is in optimal working condition.

2. Passenger and Cargo Transport

• Provide reliable transportation services for passengers or goods to designated destinations within agreed timelines.

• Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or cargo, ensuring safety and convenience.

• Prioritize the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the journey. 3. Administrative Support

• Offer effective daily administrative support for the CCCAP team, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Office.

• Assist with organizing schedules, preparing relevant briefings, and providing background materials for meetings, events, exhibitions, and hosting visitors. • Coordinate travel-related activities, including preparing travel requests, liquidations, hotel reservations, and booking train/air tickets.What are we looking for? The ideal candidate should have the following knowledge, experience, skills and personal characteristics:

• At least 5 years driving experience.

• Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

• Basic English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

• Ability to deal effectively with complex situations and demands, with internal and external contacts at all levels.

• Good judgment, diplomacy and tactfulness are essential traits for this position. • The successful candidate will be required to show absolute discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.

• Proven ability to work in a multicultural cultural environment as a proactive team player while carrying out multiple tasks on daily basis with a positive attitude. • Good sense of marketing and customer service.
