What we are looking for
NRC Palestine is looking for an Administration Manager who will be tasked with managing and coordinating the administrative functions for the Palestine country office (PS CO). The job holder will oversee the daily office operations and ensures all administration and relevant logistics processes are well planned and carried out efficiently and in line with all global and regional guidelines, policies, and applicable legislation. Additionally, they will support CO strategic initiatives or projects for the benefit of all area offices in the country.
What you will do
The role will have some of the following specific responsibilities:
- Planning and coordinating NRC administrative procedures and systems and devising ways to streamline processes.
- Oversee the administration budget for CO including managing spending plans on designated budget lines whilst seeking cost efficiencies and savings where possible.
- Leading the annual structure review for the administration unit to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee implementation of identified risk mitigation measures, including compliance spot checks.
- Advise and support project and unit managers on implementing their activities in alignment with the administration-related SOPs.
- Ensure regular coordination with visitors, partners, suppliers, local authorities, and lawyers to stay updated and be able to respond to changing needs, requests, disputes, and regulations on all relevant matters.
- Ensure that all administrative functions of the CO are well managed, including but not limited to event management, visa and work permit requirements, office cleaning & reception, fleet and transport needs, general office management and maintenance, guest and international staff accommodation.
- Act as a focal point for the CO registration; including but not limited to updating yearly registration files, coordinate yearly reports, follow-up on POA for the appointed representative.
- Ensure proper filing and archiving for all admin and support documentation.
- Support to Area offices in the country and the PS Amman Hub (including in-person and remote support) in building administration capacities.

What you will bring
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a senior position managing a unit in the humanitarian context
- Previous experience working in complex and volatile contexts.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar
- Extensive knowledge of administration and logistics routines in a humanitarian context.
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
- Allocation of resources and cost expertise.
- Fluency in Arabic both written and verbal
What we offer:
- Duty station: Jerusalem
- Contract:12 months
- Travel: 10% to areas of operation
- Salary/benefits: Grade 9 on NRC’s salary scale
