Your Role as Executive Director
As Executive Director, you will lead BDF’s impact-driven mission, overseeing strategy, financial sustainability, program management, and external representation. Working closely with the Board of Trustees, key stakeholders, and a passionate team, you will develop and implement innovative solutions for lasting social impact and systemic change.
Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy Implementation: Drive the implementation of BDF’s 2026-2030 Strategic Plan, ensuring alignment with the organization’s vision, mission, and values.

Program Management & Innovation: Lead programmatic innovation, ensure high-impact interventions, and engage partnerships with businesses and corporate partners in the construction sector.

Financial Sustainability & Fundraising: Secure an annual budget (~55M THB), diversify revenue streams, nurture and cultivate strong donor relationships, and ensure financial transparency and best practices in grant management.

Organizational Leadership & Governance: Lead a diverse and high-performing team, fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, innovation, and impact.

External Representation & Advocacy: Serve as BDF’s key representative, strengthening partnerships with donors, corporations, government agencies, and media.

Board Engagement: Work closely with the Board of Trustees, ensuring effective governance, strategic decision-making, and operational excellence.

Who We Are Looking For

An Impact-Driven Leader: You have at least 15 years of experience in the development sector and a strong track record in strategic leadership, program innovation, private sector engagement, advocacy and systemic change. Experience in Thailand and SEA is a plus.

A Passionate Development Practitioner: Deep interest in child protection, business and human rights, and migrant rights.

A Fundraising & Financial Expert: Ability to manage a multi-million THB budget, engage high-level donors, and ensure financial sustainability.

A Collaborative & Inspiring Leader: Skilled in building strong relationships with teams, partners, and stakeholders.

A Resilient & Agile Thinker: Comfortable working in multicultural environments and exploring sustainable pathways for collaboration with the private and public sectors.

An Effective Communicator & Advocate: Capable of representing BDF at senior levels, building strong external partnerships, and leveraging communication skills to amplify impact.
