About this position

We are seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be essential in administering solutions for our clients, particularly in the areas of Financial Services Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Tableau Analytics. Your expertise will ensure that best practices are implemented and that these modules and applications are used efficiently to support the bank’s business requirements.

You will join our Operations Solutions team within the TTD Department. This team is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Salesforce applications at IDB. Your key duties will include proactively monitoring performance, troubleshooting user issues, resolving technical problems, and providing timely assistance. By maintaining optimal functionality and user experience, you'll play a crucial role in minimizing disruptions to business operations.

What you’ll do

  • Work closely with business Subject Matter Experts, user community, technical and development teams, and other team members in the organization on Salesforce maintenance and support tasks, projects, and initiatives.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, test scripts, and other system documentation while adhering to IDBG standards.
  • Identify benefits, risks, and alternatives in proposed system designs and their impact on the integration with other systems.
  • Answer user questions, work with key stakeholders to determine requirements, customize the application to appeal to users, set up reporting and dashboards for managers, monitor availability and performance, activate new release features, and handle other production support tasks.
  • Coordinate the life cycle of application changes, corrective and new functionalities, including business process analysis, systems analysis, business process blueprinting, configuration, development, testing, cut-over preparation, end-user training, and go-live activities, as well as post go-live system and end-user support.
  • Update and assign new permissions according to the scalable and segmented security plan using the 4 main levels of Salesforce.com security.
  • Follow the approval workflow and add new users to Experience Cloud, Financial Cloud, and Service Cloud using predefined roles and permissions.
  • Support the creation and modification of Communities and collaborate with IDBG stakeholders to build branded Communities’ sites.
  • Participate in the internal Salesforce Maintenance and Support team.
  • Stay abreast of new Salesforce releases and developments and provide demos and/or presentations of platform functionalities to business stakeholders and TTD teams.

What you'll need

Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, marketing or a related discipline is required.

Experience: At least 2 years of progressive experience as a Salesforce Developer and/or Administrator. Minimum of two full life cycle implementations of Service Cloud, Financial Cloud, or Experience Cloud (Communities). Must-have: 1) Basic Salesforce certifications in Administration and Advanced Administration; 2) Knowledge in release management and CI/CD, preferably using Gearset; 3) Proficiency in agile methodologies. Desirable knowledge in: 1) Analytics Studio and Omni Studio; 2) Experience with Cloud (Communities). Certification in Service Cloud and Experience Cloud is preferred if the experience is less than 2 years.

Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.

Requirements

Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Type of contract and duration

 International consultant: International consultant Full-Time, 19 months (up to 36 months).
