About this position
The Technology and Transformation Department (TTD) provides the information and technology tools, solutions and services that enable the ongoing operation and management of the Bank.
The main objective of this consultancy is to work directly with members of the TTD Technology, Data and Assurance (TTD/TDA), and Product family owners in a dual role, performing risk identification and testing of controls for in scope IT systems during the self-assessment and processes and conducting automation testing for software applications to ensure quality.
What you’ll do
- Participate in conjunction of members of TTD/TDA in the design and testing of the internal control testing exercise. For each of the ITGCs controls, the Bank performs an annual testing.
- Work with TTD/TDA in identifying out of the IT internal controls, which ones would be applicable to the specific new system implementations and all the downstream implications.
- Perform continuous monitoring for high-privileged accounts across all infrastructure (DB, OS, cloud components, privileged Identity manager, and applications) and advise product owners and technical leaders on the implementation of monitoring controls.
- Participate in the revision, actualization, and creation of all related documentation to the ITGCs controls. This may include procedures, operational documents, monitoring documents, inventories, and a wide variety of different types of documentation.
- Meet with the different actors of the Technology and Transformation Department to identify how each individual control is being performed and identifying testing automation needs.
- Coordinate activities with our automation testing outsourced activities to ensure the unit is responding to the needs from product owners and technical leads. These include functional, regression, performance and security testing.
- Drive the initiative of transforming our operations to agile by integrating automated test into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring high code quality and reducing manual intervention.
- Assist in the research and provide technical recommendations on how the controls can be designed deployed to meet the requirements in testing and CI/CD and present them to the corresponding stakeholders.
What you'll need
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related fields. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: at least two years of relevant experience in Information Systems, IT Audit, or IT Risk Management, automation testing fields.
Additional Experience: 1) IT Risk Assessment – evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, identifying gaps, remediating risk, etc.; 2) IT Policy, Audit, Compliance, and IT Management Standards, such as ISO/IEC 27001 and 27002, SOC2, SOX, NIST, CISA, COBIT and COSO Frameworks; 3) working with people with different functional expertise and backgrounds; 4) presenting and documentation issues; 5) Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., phyton, java, javascript, .net); 6) Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g.,Selenium, Worksoft); 7) Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies, DevSecOps Pipelines, Versioning controls, JIRA, ServiceNow; 8) Skilled with reporting tools such as PowerBI; and 9) on controls automation in Azure Technology is a plus.
Languages: Proficiency in English and Spanish is required, and one of the other Bank official languages (French or Portuguese) is preferred.

Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
