HRD is responsible for the administration and development of the human capital of the IDB Group. The department's primary functions include managing the entire employee lifecycle, leading all aspects of implementing the People Strategy and implementing programs and methodologies that directly support the IDB’s mission. About this position

We are seeking a proactive, team-oriented, and problem-solving HR Associate. In this role, you will be part of a team dedicated to helping IDB Invest attract, retain, and engage talent. As an HR Associate, you will participate in the delivery and execution of HR products, initiatives, and services. Additionally, you will provide analytical support, identify and implement improvements, and assist with processes that facilitate reporting and decision-making.

What you’ll do

  • Support HR Business Partners in executing staff actions and talent management processes and initiatives (recruitment, performance management, career development, engagement and retention actions, etc.).
  • Support special projects within the HR department, from tactical to strategic.
  • Manage and analyze data across multiple HR platforms related to recruitment, talent management, engagement, workforce management, and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with cross-functional teams, subject matter experts, and internal clients.

What you'll need

  • Education: Master's degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, or other related fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.  
  • Experience You have more than two years of proven experience in positions related to Human Resources. Experience in management consulting and the Financial Services Industry is a plus.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is required and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is desired.

  • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab

Type of contract and duration

 International: International staff contract, 36 months initially, renewable upon mutual agreement.
