CONTEXTE ET OBJECTIF DE LA MISSION :
 

Le Programme Alimentaire Mondial (PAM) des Nations Unies est la plus grande agence humanitaire mondiale, luttant contre la faim à travers le monde. La nutrition est donc au cœur de notre mission pour atteindre la Faim Zéro et les Objectifs de Développement Durable (ODD). Le renforcement des capacités de réponse en matière de nutrition, tant au sein du PAM qu’avec ses partenaires, notamment les gouvernements, est un axe central de la politique nutritionnelle du PAM et des activités de renforcement des capacités des pays.

RESPONSABILITÉS :
 

Sous la supervision du/de la Chef(fe) de la Nutrition ou du Coordinateur d’Urgence, l’expert(e) NSU sera chargé(e) d’accélérer les interventions nutritionnelles en situation d’urgence et de fournir des conseils techniques pour soutenir la programmation NSU. Les responsabilités incluent:
 

Soutenir les pays dans la planification, la mise en œuvre et le suivi des réponses nutritionnelles intégrées en urgence :

• Collaborer avec l’équipe de préparation et de réponse aux urgences pour intégrer les aspects nutrition dans les activités d’urgence.

• Mettre en œuvre et suivre des activités nutritionnelles d’urgence de qualité (ex : programmes de supplémentation ou de prevention de la malnutrition).

• Appuyer les partenariats opérationnels, y compris la collaboration inter-agences, pour assurer une réponse efficace en nutrition d’urgence et représenter le PAM lors de réunions internes et externes si nécessaire.

• Soutenir le/la Coordinateur(trice) d’Urgence dans la documentation des leçons apprises et fournir des conseils techniques pour renforcer la composante nutritionnelle de la réponse du PAM.

• Fournir un appui stratégique et technique sur la programmation nutritionnelle en situation d’urgence, y compris la préparation aux urgences, la planification de contingence, l’analyse des risques et la veille anticipée liée aux risques nutritionnels.

QUALIFICATIONS ET EXPÉRIENCE REQUISES :

Formation : 

Diplôme universitaire supérieur en nutrition internationale, santé publique, sciences sociales ou autre domaine pertinent.

Expérience :
 

• Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience pertinente, notamment en contexte d’urgence;

• Expérience dans la conception, la mise en œuvre et la gestion de programmes nutritionnels en situations d’urgence ;

• Expérience de travail en partenariat avec des gouvernements, des agences des Nations Unies ou des partenaires de coopération sur le terrain ;

• Une expérience au sein du système des Nations Unies est un atout.

Compétences et connaissances :

• Capacité à interagir efficacement avec une diversité d’acteurs, y compris la communauté internationale et les gouvernements ;

• Excellentes compétences en communication, rédaction et animation ;

• Souplesse et adaptabilité ;

• Capacités d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes ;

• Sensibilité interculturelle et aptitude au travail en équipe ;

• Capacité à travailler sous pression et à respecter les délais ;

• À l’aise avec les environnements changeants et parfois instables ;

• Maîtrise des outils informatiques.

Langues :

Maîtrise du francais (niveau C – lecture, ecriture, expression orale) requise ; la connaissance de l’anglais est un atout.
 

Conditions :
Le PAM offre un package de rémunération compétitif qui dépendra du type de contrat ainsi que des qualifications et de l’expérience du/de la candidat(e) sélectionné(e).
