The Base Salary for this position is INR 79,466/- per month + 8.33% of Base Salary towards Social Security, also employee will be covered with medical benefits as per WFP 's Plan. All Tax liability for payments from this contract are to be borne by the subscriber.   

VACANCY DETAILS

JOB PURPOSE:

To perform a range of HR tasks to support accurate implementation of WFP policies and procedures and facilitate the effective functioning of a clientfocused and strategy-oriented HR services.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive) 

Under the direct supervision of the Human Resources Officer, the job holder will work under the close support, guidance and regular feedback on the work performed. He/She will perform the following duties (not all-inclusive).

1)  Assist in recruitment, selection, onboarding and employee actions:
•    Provide support in the recruitment and selection process for all contractual modalities.
•    Ensure completion of onboarding and induction session and formalities for all new employees.
•    Prepare HR documents in Workday such as offers, employment contracts, certificates, Note  for Records, broadcast, etc. ensuring timely actions.
•    Ensure completion of separation documents, forms, and checklists for final settlement  payments.


2)   Personnel administration actions and database management:

•   Provide support in routine HR administrative tasks ensuring consistent service delivery as per  the required standards. 
•    Liaise with other units on HR related information on employees for actions related to payroll, entitlements, contracts, absence management, vendor payments, separation etc.  
•    Respond to routine HR queries and escalate to HR Officer where appropriate, in order to  provide timely and accurate information to staff. Also, resolve the queries regarding Workday on a regular basis.
•    Provide guidance and on-the-job training to other staff, to support their development and  increased knowledge of HR systems and procedures required to perform their duties
•    Responsible for e-filing and maintenance of staff personal files to ensure documents are  readily available in e-files as well as Workday.
•    Use HR management systems for entering and updating a variety of HR data including assistance in monitoring various deadlines (e.g. contract expiration, PACE, etc.), ensuring compliance with the established deadlines and accuracy of HR data.
•    Supporting payroll administration

3) Learning and Development actions:

• ​ Coordination and Compilation of nominations for both National and Global learning programmes
•  Supporting HR officer in preparing various training materials and knowledge sharing sessions on various topics. Identification of relevant external training resources. Scheduling and facilitation of learning sessions.
•  Compilation of training evaluation report,
•  Contributing to Staff Wellness Activities along with Staff Wellness Committee
•  Follow up on mandatory courses, track performance evaluations, probation, LinkedIn Learning


4)   Database Management, Analysis and Reporting:

• ​ Maintaining of performance and training database
• ​ Compiling annual HR and learning report
• ​ Creation of various templates for streamlining HR activities and reports as required
• ​ Manage HR data in Workday, monthly submission of staffing list and Org Chart, Trip Profile,
• ​ Extract and compile HR data on staff recruitment and selection, contractual conditions, entitlements, performance and training requirements, to support analysis and reporting needs.

5)    Serve as backup to the Human Resources Associate in the team

6)     Any other related duties as required. 
 

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

  • Completion of secondary school education. A Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business/Public Administration or related fields is an advantage.

EXPERIENCE

  • Five or more years of responsible work experience in Human Resources administration in national/international organization. Experience in basic HR data management, HR Management Information Systems and ERP like Peoplesoft or SAP or Workday is required. 

Desirable:

  • Has managed and implemented HR policy and procedures in line with UNs operating standards
  • Has conducted specific HR Services activities such as payroll administration, aspects of recruitment and interviews administration
  • Has provided ad-hoc guidance to less experienced staff members
  • Has provided briefing to new recruits as part of the onboarding process
  • Has exposure to Learning & Development activities

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required. 
  • Is organized, strong on follow-up and coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to demonstrate positive attributes and experience in team environment.
  • Ability to handle multitasking, manage high work pressures and stress.
  • Ability to produce accurate work, pays attention to detail. 
  • Possess strong working standards on HR compliance, Rules, Regulations, Procedures and organizations Value system.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential HR documents and information
  • Ability to maintain respectful communication with individuals across the organization


LANGUAGE

Proficiency in both written spoken English and Hindi
