Responsibilities
Major Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and deliver training tailored to the needs of key stakeholders
- Develop training curricula, presentations, and participant materials on relevant topics
- Facilitate interactive training sessions using case-based approaches to enhance practical knowledge and institutional capacities
- Prepare training reports, including training assessments, participant feedback analysis, and recommendations for follow-up actions
- Contribute to the development of training strategies and longer-term capacity development frameworks
- Collaborate with IOM team and national counterparts to ensure that training content aligns with national policies, and international standards

Qualifications
- At least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Development Studies, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Economics, or a related discipline. A master’s or PhD degree in a related field is preferred.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in one of the above-mentioned key areas
- Proven experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training sessions, particularly using adult learning principles and participatory training methods
- Experience in working with various stakeholders, including government agencies, municipalities, NGOs, and international organizations.
- Exceptional reporting and presentation skills
- Familiarity with capacity development frameworks, excellent facilitation skills, report writing and analytical skills, curriculum development skills.
- Fluency in English and Turkish is required.
The consultant will be requested to travel to targeted provinces in Türkiye to conduct trainings. The travel costs, accommodation costs (bed and breakfast), and living costs (terminal expenses, intra- city travel costs, lunch, dinner, etc.) of the missions to other provinces of Türkiye will be borne by IOM. IOM will arrange economy class round-trip flight tickets through its contracted Travel Agency. In case of need for additional travels that are unforeseen in the ToR, the costs of the respective travels of the consultant may either be:
- Reimbursed to the consultant upon the submission of the receipts/invoices of the expenses by the consultant and approval of the IOM
As per UNDSS rules, the consultant is responsible for completing necessary online security training and submitting certificates and travel clearance prior to assignment-related travels.

Consultants are responsible for their own medical insurance for non-occupational accident or illness and will be required to provide written proof of such coverage before commencing work.
