As the Bank continues to enhance its data-driven decision-making capabilities, the role of analytics has become critical in providing insights that support strategic planning, risk management, and operational efficiencies. This role will be responsible for spearheading the Bank’s Generative AI (GenAI) analytics initiatives, leveraging advanced data techniques to inform business decisions and drive innovation.
This role will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and implementation of GenAI-based analytics initiatives. The incumbent will ensure the adoption of cutting-edge AI technologies to drive innovation, improve business processes, and optimize data utilization. This role will work closely with business units, IT, and leadership teams to align analytics initiatives with the Bank’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategy: Develop and drive the execution of the Bank’s enterprise-wide GenAI strategic plan, aligning with the organization’s Corporate Strategy.
- Build capabilities: Define and oversee all necessary building blocks of GenAI to bring GenAI capability to AIIB, including identifying opportunities, designing, developing, deploying advanced GenAI analytics solutions, and adopting technology solutions.
- Identify opportunities: Collaborate with business units to identify and facilitate analytics opportunities to produce business impact.
- Ensure data integrity: Work with ITD, compliance teams, and relevant teams to ensure the integrity, security, and quality of data assets and responsible usage for GenAI applications.
- Integrate with digital systems: Work with ITD’s Digital Service team to ensure GenAI opportunities are properly turned into applications delivered to business users and well-integrated with AIIB’s digital systems and data.
- Drive adoption: Drive the adoption of GenAI applications across the Bank by providing training and enabling the upskilling of staff with digital capabilities.
- Stay updated on trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in analytics and data science, and introduce relevant trends to the Bank and ITD as a subject matter expert.
Requirements:
- At least 8 years of experience in data analytics, AI/ML, or digital transformation roles, with at least 3 years in Generative AI applications.
- Master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, AI, Business Analytics, or related field. A holder of a Bachelor's degree in similar or related fields may be considered provided they have at least two years of relevant working experience in lieu of a Master’s degree.
- Proven track record in designing and deploying AI-powered analytics solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML frameworks, cloud-based AI services, and big data platforms.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI models (e.g., GPT, BERT, Llama) and AI-driven automation tools would be preferred.
- Familiarity with AI ethics, model interpretability, and responsible AI principles.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex AI projects.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in English, both oral and written.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for learning and building expertise in GenAI, staying updated with industry advancements.
- Ability to articulate the value and capability of technology to business stakeholders.
- Ability to work within a governed environment, navigate institutional structures, and drive outcomes.
