About the Ukraine Analysis Hub
ACAPS Ukraine Analysis Hub (UAH) has been monitoring the conflict in Ukraine and producing timely, independent, and high-quality analytical products on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and the region since March 2022. Since its inception, the UAH has delivered a comprehensive set of analytical products, including in-depth analytical reports and datasets.
The UAH also seeks to bolster analytical capacity and assessment capabilities in Ukraine, through mentoring and technical support to the broad humanitarian response, including Ukrainian civil society organizations.
The project is composed of 13 staff members and consultants, working mainly from Ukraine.
Purpose of the position
The Senior Analyst supervises the planning, production, and quality of the UAH’s analytical products. S/he also contributes to this production by writing and managing analysis and supporting the development and improvement of ACAPS methodologies. The post holder leads on-the-job training for the Analyst, Data Analyst and Data Collector s/he supervises and supports the Team Leader with networking, partnerships, and fundraising efforts. The Senior Analyst is expected to be the preeminent contextual expert on Ukraine context within the UAH. The position reports to the Team Leader and is part of the UAH’s management team along with other Senior Analysts, the Project Manager, and the Civil Society Advisor.
