Partnership Officer Ukraine Dnipro

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has been working in Ukraine since 2014. Following the escalation of conflict in February 2022, NRC scaled up its operations across Ukraine and neighboring countries. NRC’s humanitarian response in the east of Ukraine is focused on an integrated approach that combines its programming expertise (Core Competencies) of Livelihoods and Food Security (LFS), Shelter/WASH, Education in Emergencies, Protection from Violence, and Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA). In the east of Ukraine, NRC and its partners are currently working in Donetska, Kharkivska, Dnipropetrovska, and Zaporizka oblasts.
NRC Ukraine works with local partners to extend its access to people in need and to build the capacity of local institutions for longer term sustainability. To work in partnership most effectively, NRC Ukraine is strengthening its internal systems and developing standard operating procedures for partnership management as well as revising NRC’s existing Partnership Toolkit. Working with partners requires inputs across NRC teams, from finance, MEL, programmes, Logistics and others; effective partnership requires a proactive attitude, combined with a diverse set of skills including and understanding of partnership programming. The Partnership Officer, under the guidance of the Partnership Coordinator, will work closely with partners and NRC teams to support and strengthen NRC’s work with partners in the east of Ukraine.
