Field Flying Specialist LGBTQIA+ Inclusion 

75% based in Country Programs, 25% working from any location remotely

Main responsibilities  

As part of the LGBTQIA+ inclusion for MSF Health Project, you are part of a project team of 5, responsible forsupporting and direct engagement with the implementation phase of the developed LGBTQIA+ inclusion framework across multiple project locations, to be finalized by the end of 2026. During the implementation phase, working in close collaboration with other team members, including  on the training material for inclusion as well as working in close collaboration with MSF country project teams. As flying specialist, you will be working alongside country project teams for several months to train and monitor implementation. 

As the flying specialist with a critical role in the success of implementation, strong project management is required to ensure smooth implementation, as well as networking and engaging with stakeholders across several MSF entities and locations, including community engagement. 

Responsibilities and activities

  • Mentoring, coaching and training of project teams on inclusionframework

  • Development of training material in collaboration with L&D manager

  • Implementation in different locations of LGBTQIA+ inclusion framework

  • Closely working together with LGBTQI+ Public Health Advisor

  • Motivate colleagues to create inclusive working environment 

  • Develop a monitoring system, monitoring and evaluation after implementation

  • Document lessons learned to apply to future implementations and develop case studies for future projects to understand challenges and possible solutions for inclusion of LGBTQI+  

Candidate Profile 

  • Able to work autonomous and independent; 

  • Strong motivation to work with LGBTQIA+ community;

  • Committed to an inclusive culture that encourages and supports the diverse voices of our employees;

  • Understanding of how MSF structures and how MSF operates on project level

  • Strong networking- and influencing capabilities;

  • Demonstrated project management skills; 

  • Background in health promotion, community engagement or advocacy is an asset;

  • Strong interpersonal- and intercultural communication skills. Role model of values and collaborative spirit.

Required:

  • MSF experience on project level is required;

  • Fluencyin written and spoken English is required (Dutch is not required); additional languages are an asset (French, Spanish, Arabic)

  • Experience in project management, ability to guide people through change; 

  • Flexibility to spend 75% in country programs across all countries MSF has projects (e.g. Afghanistan, South Sudan, Bangladesh, Syria etc.)

We offer

An employment contract from start date until 31-12-2026, based on 40 hours per week. The TIC project runs until end of 2026. 

A gross monthly salary on IRFFG level 13, with a salary based on your country of residence.
