Job Description: Junior Professional, Human Resources (HR Operations)
The Human Resources Department, under the Office of the Vice President for Administration, is functionally responsible for effectively managing and optimizing the organization's workforce to achieve its strategic goals and objectives.
This position will be responsible to provide day-to-day support to the portfolio related to consultants (STC/STTC), secondees, and related policies, guidelines and HR systems. This includes full cycle support to the portfolio including HR projects and initiatives in alignment with NDB’s policies and guidelines.
Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist in STC/STTC, secondees administration.
- Manage contracts, filing, data administration, information management and perform routine HR operations related to portfolio.
- Support actively in on-boarding and offboarding activities for consultants and secondees.
- Support with data reviews, contract extensions, termination actions and other related tasks.
- Support HR systems portfolio, including HR projects and initiatives.
- Prepare reports as required and manage HRIS records with accuracy and completion.
- Be a trusted liaison with clients and stakeholders as needed.
- Coordinate other tasks and matters with other Departments and Divisions.
- Implement process and system improvements related to the portfolio.
- Provide graphic design support, development of user guides for related portfolios including HR systems as required.
- Serves as primary organizer of key task force or special meetings.
- Tracks, monitors and follows-up on the progress of various initiatives, projects, action items, strategies.
- Assists in developing and implementing email correspondence, HR papers, presentations, and other documents.
- Conducts research, substantive review and analysis of information and prepare statistical reports and presentations.
- Supports the planning of annual or ad hoc staff retreats and events, if allocated.
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Position Requirements:
- Professional integrity and sound judgment in handling confidential information.
- Relevant experience in a multi-cultural work environment fostering a climate of teamwork and collaboration.
- Strong data analytical skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to multi-task, work under strict deadlines and manage stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and HR information systems.
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Masters’ Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum one year of HR work experience is preferred. Candidates with less than one-year work experience, and Fresh Graduates who have obtained education degrees, as required by NDB, could also be considered.
