We are currently seeking an Innovation LATAM Project Manager (Volunteer) to lead strategic projects, coordinate international volunteers, and ensure the adoption of innovative digital solutions that align with our mission. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to global social impact while working alongside an international, multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead the planning and execution of strategic projects, ensuring compliance with scope, time, cost, and quality.
- Establish and oversee work plans, timelines, KPIs, and social and technological impact metrics.
- Implement processes for risk identification, analysis, and mitigation.
- Prepare executive and performance reports, providing updates on progress, risks, and results weekly to the Volunteer Program Director.
Volunteer and Team Management
- Coordinate and oversee the integration of international volunteers, advisors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Define and manage processes for onboarding, monitoring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure a strategic allocation of talent to maximize impact on each project.
Stakeholder Management and Institutional Communication
- Act as the main liaison between Management, Program Managers, advisors, technical teams, external partners, and international allies.
- Facilitate intercultural and interdisciplinary communication in projects with a global scope.
- Prepare strategic presentations and executive reports for investors, donors, and multilateral organizations.
Innovation and Digital Transformation
- Oversee the adoption and integration of innovative digital solutions (Big Data, AI, fintech, technological platforms).
- Ensure the strategic alignment of projects with the technological, social, and impact vision of Living Stones Foundation.
- Collaborate with technical leaders to ensure scalability, sustainability, and continuous innovation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Education: Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Digital Transformation, International Relations, or related fields.
Experience:
- Experience in Project Management within NGOs, private companies, governments, or international cooperation.
- Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing volunteers.
- Practical knowledge of agile and hybrid methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, PMI) and management tools (Slack, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Notion).
Core Competencies:
- Collaborative leadership with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent stakeholder management and intercultural communication skills (Spanish & English).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
- Strategic vision oriented toward social impact, scalability, and innovation.
Preferred:
- International certification in project management (PMP, CSM, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
- Experience in digital transformation, fintech, or data-driven platforms.
- Connections with the academic or international field (universities, fellowship programs).
Availability Requirements
- Minimum 20–24 hours per week commitment.
- Work 4 hours daily to attend meetings, follow up with volunteers, and oversee task progress.
- Availability to attend virtual meetings scheduled across U.S. time zones (Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific).
- Flexibility to adapt to international collaboration with partners and volunteers worldwide.
