About the Ukraine Analysis Hub

ACAPS Ukraine Analysis Hub (UAH) has been monitoring the conflict in Ukraine and producing timely, independent, and high-quality analytical products on the humanitarian situation since March 2022. Since its inception, the UAH has delivered a comprehensive set of analytical products, including in-depth analytical reports and datasets, scenario-planning workshops, as well as trainings to Ukrainian humanitarian responders.

Today, we are a team of 13, primarily Ukrainian analysts and support staff, working from within the country to provide context-driven, locally informed analysis and support to INGOs and Ukrainian Civil Society Organisations (CSOs).

Purpose of the position

The Senior Analyst plays a central role in shaping and ensuring the quality of the UAH’s analytical work. The position is responsible for overseeing the planning, production, and methodological rigor of analytical products, while also directly contributing through drafting and managing analysis. The post holder supports the development and refinement of ACAPS methodologies, leads external capacity-building initiatives, and represents the hub through presentations and trainings for Ukrainian humanitarian actors.

The Senior Analyst provides supervision and on-the-job training to team members under their line management and contributes to the professional growth of the wider team. They also play a key role in supporting the Team Leader on networking, partnerships, and donor engagement. The Senior Analyst is expected to serve as a leading contextual expert on Ukraine within the UAH and is a member of the hub’s management team, alongside other Senior Analysts, the Project Manager, and the Civil Society Advisor.
