Unit Context
The Technology Platforms Team (ITSPL) is anchored in the Chief Technology Officer (ITSTO) division in ITS. ITS Technology Office (ITSTO) drives technology-enabled innovation and delivers the digital backbone for WBG's mission. It develops future-ready technology strategy, modernizes infrastructure, manages innovation, and fosters agility. The unit collaborates across the organization to leverage technology as a force multiplier, accelerating development impact and digital transformation globally.
ITSPL delivers secure, cloud-first IT platforms with automation, self-service, and Platform Engineering (IaC). It manages databases, integrations, & cloud ops to ensure reliable, scalable, & cost-effective alignment with enterprise standards. The primary programs that the ITSTO unit is responsible for is providing a wide range of technical infrastructure services to meet the institution's computing needs, from mid-range servers, large scale servers, and the respective system, network, and supporting software on those platforms. It provides engineering, integration, and system administration services for Server Administration, Server Security, Backup/Restore, Storage, Virtual infrastructure (on premise and in cloud) and Data Center Management.
Duties and accountabilities:
Drives Agile methodology adoption, process compliance, and delivery governance across technology teams enabling consistent ways of working, ITSM alignment, and data-driven management reporting.
• Facilitate and govern all Agile ceremonies - sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, PI Planning, and reviews ensuring process consistency and compliance across teams
• Define, document, and enforce Agile process standards and governance frameworks aligned to SAFe principles and organisational delivery expectations
• Drive ITSM process compliance by embedding ServiceNow workflows, change management, and incident practices into the team's Agile operating rhythm
• Lead Agile adoption initiatives - design onboarding programmes, run coaching sessions, and track adoption metrics across teams to increase maturity over time
• Build and maintain management dashboards and reporting artifacts not limited to sprint velocity, PI progress, capacity utilisation, and delivery health metrics for leadership visibility
• Identify process gaps and non-compliance patterns; define corrective actions and track resolution to closure
• Serve as the Agile governance champion continuously refining ways of working, facilitating retrospectives at programme level, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement
Selection Criteria
• Master's degree with 5 years of experience or a Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience defining and governing Agile processes and frameworks in a SAFe or scaled Agile environment
• Proven track record of driving Agile adoption across teams — including coaching, maturity assessment, and measurable improvement in delivery practices
• Hands-on experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, including change management, incident management, and process compliance workflows
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to design and maintain dashboards and management reports that translate delivery data into actionable insights
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies at both team and Programme level, with the ability to drive alignments across multiple workstreams
• Excellent written communication skills with a track record of producing clear process documentation, governance frameworks, and executive reporting artefacts
• Ability to influence without authority driving process adoption and compliance across teams through engagement, coaching, and structured governance
