RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE
Capability 5 Implementation & Learning
- Lead agency specific implementation of Capability 5 approaches, ensuring alignment with the Child Path Model.
- Support caregiver engagement models, including testing of group size, schedules, facilitation approaches (staff‑led, peer‑led, hybrid), and referral linkages.
- Maintain and strengthen Social Accountability (CSC) implementation in health centers/clinics and schools, ensuring community participation, action‑planning, and follow‑up.
- Coordinate light‑touch learning and documentation, capturing what works, what does not, and why, to inform continuous improvement.
- Feed agency learning into cross‑agency and global C5 learning loops, supporting future guidance and scale decisions.
Monitoring, Evidence & Learning (MEL)
- Lead to define minimal, actionable indicators for C5 implementation.
- Track operational learning (staff time, workflows, feasibility).
- Lead after‑action reviews and learning synthesis.
- Support evidence‑informed decision‑making for 2027 planning and scale.
Capacity Building, Operations & Safeguarding
- Train and mentor Field Officers and partners in participatory facilitation (CSC/SA), youth‑friendly and caregiver‑responsive approaches and basic learning and documentation tools
- Ensure operational planning, budgeting, and safeguarding compliance across all C4/5 activities.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, supervise direct reports in alignment with CI values and established leadership profiles, resulting in enhanced operational effectiveness and efficiency.
- Develop and manage performance of direct reports through clear accountability, coaching, ongoing feedback, and intentional developmental opportunities.
- Visibly champion change to adapt and integrate with the Child Path Model, new operating model, and future evolving work environments.
- Foster a learning culture that tackles agency challenges and models effective problem solving. Join learning sessions to exchange best practices and lessons learned.
- Role model and reinforce within the Program Department core behaviors aligned to CI values consistently.
- Enable seamless information flow, break down silos, and stimulate effective collaboration across stakeholders within the global organization, agency as well as the community, maximizing collective impact for our children, youth, and families.
- The responsibilities and authorities associated with this temporary assignment are limited to the scope and duration of the assignment and may be modified, supplemented, reduced, or reassigned by the organization in accordance with operational requirements and organizational needs.

WORK AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
- Flexibility to accommodate work schedules that may include weekend and evening hours depending on partnership development activities and schedules.
- Willingness to travel often and for extended periods of time across different operating locations in the Philippines, with occasional travel outside the country, as needed for C4 and C5 activities, partners engagement, training sessions, and other program-related events.
Overall Decision Making & Supervision
- This position requires complex decisions requiring independent actions and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues.
