The International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) supports, represents and works to strengthen professional associations of midwives throughout the world. There are currently 140 Midwives' Associations, representing 119 countries across every continent.
ICM is organised into six regions: Africa (Anglophone and Francophone, the Americas (North America and the Caribbean & South America), Eastern Mediterannean, Europe, South East Asia and Western Pacific. Together these associations represents over 1 million midwives globally.
