The Green Climate Fund internship program offers an unparalleled learning experience tailored for students and recent graduates hailing from diverse academic disciplines. The application process welcomes individuals of all nationalities, with a special emphasis on encouraging qualified candidates, particularly those from developing nations, to apply.
This program is meticulously crafted for talented and driven individuals proficient in areas pertinent to the operations of the GCF. Interns receive a monthly allowance of USD 1,300, along with free comprehensive global health insurance coverage. Selected candidates have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the work of the Fund, gaining invaluable insights and receiving guidance and training across various professional domains within a vibrant multicultural setting.
The GCF internship spans six months initially, with the potential for a six-month extension contingent upon a performance review. All interns are required to work at the GCF headquarters located in Songdo, South Korea. For international hires, roundtrip flights will be provided.
To be eligible for an internship, candidates must:
Be enrolled in a Master's or PhD program before an internship assignment, or a recent graduate;
Be engaged or recently engaged in academic study in a field directly related to the Fund's work;
Possess an excellent command of English.
