Throughout these Terms, the terms “Impactpool”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to INTALMA AB.
By accessing or using the Impactpool platform and services (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Impactpool is an online platform connecting professionals with organizations working in:

international development
sustainability
humanitarian assistance
social impact.

The platform may provide services including:

career tools and career advice
professional profiles and candidate discovery
job postings and recruitment services
employer branding and partnerships
subscription services such as Impactpool Fellowship.

Impactpool acts as a technology platform facilitating connections between candidates and organizations.
Impactpool does not act as an employer, or hiring authority.

2. User Accounts

Certain features require creating a user account. By creating an account, you agree to:

provide accurate information
maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
update your information when necessary.

Users must be at least 18 years old.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
Impactpool reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Candidate Profiles and Visibility

Users may create professional profiles containing information such as:

employment history
education
skills
CVs and documents
career preferences.

By creating a profile on Impactpool, you acknowledge and agree that your profile may be visible to:

Impactpool administrators
recruiters and organizations using the platform
organizations partnering with Impactpool for recruitment services.

Impactpool may use automated systems to match profiles with relevant job opportunities. Users may modify or delete profile information through account settings. Users are responsible for ensuring their profile information is accurate and lawful.

4. Impactpool Fellowship Subscription

Impactpool may offer a premium subscription service called Impactpool Fellowship. Fellowship provides access to additional career tools, events, premium content, opportunities, and services.

Subscription Options

Fellowship subscriptions may be offered with different billing periods such as:

monthly subscription
annual subscription
promotional or trial subscriptions.

The available options, pricing, and included services will be displayed before purchase.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected billing period. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Impactpool or its payment providers to charge the applicable subscription fee. Payments may be processed through secure third-party payment providers.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal. The renewal period will match the original subscription duration selected when signing up.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

your account settings, or
contacting Impactpool support.

Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. Access to Fellowship services will continue until the end of the paid period.

Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

5. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the subscription purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period begins on the day the subscription contract is concluded. To exercise this right, you must notify Impactpool of your decision to withdraw by contacting: support@impactpool.org If you requested immediate access to the digital service during the withdrawal period, you may be required to pay a proportional amount for the service already provided before withdrawal.

6. Services for Organizations

Impactpool provides services for organizations including:

job postings
recruitment solutions
applicant tracking system
talent management system (talent pools)
employer branding
partnership subscriptions.

Organizations are solely responsible for:

the accuracy of job postings
recruitment decisions
compliance with employment laws
communication with candidates.

Impactpool does not guarantee the accuracy of job postings or hiring outcomes.

7. Acceptable Use

Users may not use the platform to:

violate any laws or regulations
submit misleading or fraudulent information
harass or discriminate against others
distribute malicious software
scrape or copy platform data without permission.

Impactpool reserves the right to remove content or terminate accounts violating these rules.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform, including:

software
design
logos
text
data structures

is owned by Impactpool or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce or distribute platform content without permission.

9. Third-Party Services

Impactpool may provide links or integrations with third-party services. Impactpool is not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites or services.

10. Privacy and Personal Data

Impactpool processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy available at: https://www.impactpool.org/about/privacy The Privacy Policy describes:

what personal data is collected
how data is used
how data is shared
your rights under data protection laws.

Impactpool processes personal data in compliance with GDPR and applicable data protection legislation.

11. Platform Role and Employment

Disclaimer Impactpool acts solely as a platform connecting professionals and organizations. Impactpool does not guarantee:

employment opportunities
nterviews
recruitment outcomes.

Any agreements or employment relationships are solely between users and organizations. Impactpool is not responsible for disputes arising from recruitment processes.

12. Service Availability

Impactpool aims to provide reliable services but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to:

maintenance
technical issues
updates
infrastructure failures.

Impactpool may modify or discontinue services at any time.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Impactpool does not guarantee that:

the service will be uninterrupted
the platform will be error-free
job listings will lead to employment.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Impactpool shall not be liable for:

indirect or consequential damages
loss of employment opportunities
actions taken by organizations or users of the platform.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

15. Termination

Impactpool may suspend or terminate accounts that:

violate these Terms
misuse the platform
engage in unlawful activities.

Users may terminate their account at any time.

16. Changes to the Terms

Impactpool may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be published on the website. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Consumers residing in the European Union may also rely on mandatory consumer protection laws in their country of residence.
