Yuki is an experienced international coach with over 20 years of experience in the private sector, UN (UNDP and WFP), and NGOs. She has worked in 19 countries across Africa, Asia-Pacific, North America, and Europe, including field locations, country offices, and headquarters. Her hands-on experience managing humanitarian projects in hardship duty stations gives her a deep understanding of the challenges faced by international development and humanitarian professionals.

Yuki works with mid-career professionals seeking to transition into international development or humanitarian careers, professionals moving into new roles, those considering leaving the field, spouses and partners of international professionals, and individuals transitioning into retirement.

The clients’ career transitions also affect their families and their lives in general. So, Yuki’s coaching conversation with clients often goes beyond their careers. The clients’ transition can also often be nuanced due to grief related to various losses, including job loss, health problems, empty nesting, bereavement, divorce, separation, retirement or other life transitions. As a certified trauma-informed and grief coach, Yuki takes a holistic approach, focusing on her clients’ longer-term career/life satisfaction.

A cancer survivor, Yuki is passionate about supporting people through challenging professional and personal transitions. She is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), a Trauma-Informed Certified Coach (TICC), and a From Grief to Gratitude Certified Coach. She holds an M.A. in Human Rights and an M.Sc. in Rural Planning and Development. Her coaching combines practical insight, empathy, and a deep understanding of the realities of international humanitarian and development work.
