What We Can Achieve Together:
The Philanthropy Data and Technology Specialist will provide high-quality, user-centered support to the team and the Conservancy’s staff partners that utilize various systems for effective fundraising, foster a culture of philanthropy, and equip staff with the knowledge to maximize their contributions to TNC’s conservation outcomes. They will:
Respond to assigned tickets in the Philanthropy Operation Support Hub (POSH) which may include troubleshooting, configurations, and data updates in accordance with established procedures
Conduct data reviews, support data requests, and conduct data entry and ongoing maintenance activities to maintain the accuracy and privacy of constituent data
Provide input, coordinate, and support database and technology projects that may involve collaboration with other teams and departments
Create and manage database and other systems-related documentation, including the regular review of content and making content updates in the Development and BB CRM Knowledge Banks
The Specialist must have advanced knowledge (or be capable of quickly gaining advanced level skill) of the systems and resources utilized by the team and Development Operations staff (Asana, Power BI, Microsoft 365 applications, Blackbaud CRM, Workday) to provide programmatic support and coordinate communications related to the resources. They will have substantial contact with stakeholders and may serve as the lead liaison with partners. The Specialist will keep up-to-date on market trends and best practices to improve services. They will adapt processes and implement recommended practices in order to improve effectiveness based on their in-depth understanding of related policies and procedures

What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent combination.
Experience with relational database management and reporting.
Experience generating reports and interpreting data.
Experience in writing user documentation.
Experience working across teams.
Desired Qualifications:
Multi-lingual skills and multi-cultural or cross-cultural experience are appreciated.
A growth mindset, curiosity to learn, try new approaches, and adaptively manage programs to meet evolving conditions & needs
Experience in major/principal gifts and/or supporting fundraising programs
Ability to analyze information for the purpose of coordinating and planning activities and solving problems.
Ability to implement complex processes.
Ability to use existing technology to achieve desired results.
Demonstrated experience using diplomacy and tact to build strong relationships and motivate staff.
Experience coordinating projects.
Experience interpreting guidelines to achieve desired results.
Experience with database management.
Knowledge of current trends in nonprofit database technologies and management
Strong organization skills, accuracy, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Successful experience implementing strategic program goals.
Salary Information:
The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $66,950 - $97,500. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate’s actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
