What is a Roster?

These roles collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver scalable, secure, and value-driven solutions across the organization. The ideal candidates will act as strategic partners between business and technology, contributing to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise solutions, primarily within the Microsoft ecosystem (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Data & Analytics).
The location of the related positions will be in any of the countries where CIMMYT operates/Multiple locations.
General activities (Common across roles)
- Act as a trusted liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable technical or functional requirements.
- Support the full solution lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and user adoption.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations, Science, and external vendors to deliver integrated solutions.
- Contribute to the optimization and automation of business processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Support or lead testing activities, including defining acceptance criteria, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensuring solutions meet business expectations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including business requirements, functional designs, technical specifications, user guides, and training materials.
- Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with governance frameworks, PMO standards, and IT policies.
- Ensure compliance with security, data governance, access control, auditability, and organizational standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and adoption of new technologies and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing status updates, risk assessments, and recommendations.
Submit your application if you have these minimum qualifications, skills, and attitudes:
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration.
- Considerable practical experience in one or more of the following areas: Business Analysis, ERP (Dynamics 365), Data & Analytics, Software Development, or IT Project Management.
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Engagement) and the Power Platform.
- Experience working within structured delivery frameworks (SDLC, Agile, ITIL, PMO).
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and propose practical, technology-enabled solutions.
- Experience collaborating with vendors, consultants, and internal technical teams.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data, reporting, analytics, or automation tools (Power BI, SQL, Power Automate, Microsoft Fabric) is highly desirable.
- Desirable certifications: CBAP / CCBA (IIBA), PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis), TOGAF (Architecture Framework), SAP / Oracle ERP Certifications (transferable ERP experience), PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2 , Agile Certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe, PMI-ACP) , ITIL Foundation / ITIL Managing Professional, Certified Data Engineer / Data Scientist (Microsoft, Databricks, etc.) SQL / Database Certifications , DevOps Certifications (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), Security & Compliance Certifications (ISO 27001, Azure Security Engineer)
- High proficiency in written and spoken English
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environments and in multi-disciplinary teams.
