The Information Technology Department (ITD) is hiring a Digital Program Specialist – AI & Innovation Platform, who will be responsible for managing AIIB’s innovation platforms – including artificial intelligence (AI) application‑enabling platforms, AI development tools, and emerging digital innovation technologies – to support the Bank’s strategic adoption of AI and digital capabilities.
The role will focus on platform life cycle management, capability mapping, technology evaluation, and ensuring that AIIB makes optimal use of available innovation platforms. It will contribute to establishing AI capability frameworks, aligning platform selection with business needs, and identifying gaps within AIIB’s technology landscape. The position will track global AI and digital innovation trends, evaluate mainstream platforms, conduct product comparisons, support procurement, and contribute to long‑term strategic roadmaps.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the life cycle of AI and innovation platforms supporting business-facing AI applications.
- Ensure platforms are configured, maintained, and optimized to meet user and business requirements.
- Coordinate with IT Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)and platform providers to resolve platform issues and feature enhancements.
- Support onboarding of business teams and fusion teams to ensure effective use of innovation tools.
- Develop and maintain an AI capability map describing required AI capabilities.
- Map capability requirements to existing platforms and identify gaps, redundancies, or optimization areas.
- Recommend platform enhancements, replacements, or consolidation opportunities.
- Conduct comparative evaluations of mainstream AI and innovation platforms.
- Analyze strengths, weaknesses, integration capabilities, pricing models, and fit for AIIB needs.
- Track global AI, large language models (LLM), automation, and digital innovation trends for actionable recommendations.
- Contribute to establishing AI technology architecture frameworks.
- Ensure platforms adhere to AIIB’s security, responsible AI, and data governance policies.
- Maintain platform documentation, architectural diagrams, and best practices.
- Develop platform roadmaps aligned with the AI capability map and strategic goals.
- Identify platform opportunities, enhancements, and areas needing decommissioning.
- Plan upgrades, migrations, and expansions with internal teams.
- Support vendor evaluations, Request for Proposal (RFP) development, and technical due diligence.
- Compare platform capabilities, compliance, pricing, and alignment with AIIB’s requirements.
- Ensure adherence to procurement and contract requirements.
- Assist different teams in using innovation platforms effectively.
- Prepare platform usage guides, onboarding materials, and best-practice documents.
- Conduct demonstrations, awareness sessions, and knowledge‑sharing on new technologies.
- Monitor platform usage, performance, and user feedback.
- Recommend improvements to configuration, governance, or user experience.
- Track KPIs related to platform adoption, utilization, and business impact.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience with digital platforms, AI-enabling tools, or innovation technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related fields.
- Certifications in cloud, AI fundamentals, or platform management are an advantage.
- Experience supporting enterprise platforms, conducting technology evaluations, or managing digital tools.
- Exposure to vendor engagement, procurement processes, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Experience working with IT SMEs and business teams in matrixed environments.
- Understanding of AI application‑enabling platforms, agent tools, AI coding tools, vector search, conversational AI, and innovation toolchains.
- Familiarity with platform architecture, i.e., APIs, connectors, orchestration, and data flow.
- Experience evaluating mainstream AI and innovation platforms.
- Awareness of responsible AI, data privacy, and security standards.
- Strong analytical and research skills for evaluating emerging technologies.
- Clear communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to coordinate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Commitment to continuous learning in AI and emerging technologies.
