About this position
The Accounting Division is looking for a dedicated, energetic, and team-oriented professional to fill a consultant position in our Financial Reporting Team (MFG). This role will support ESG Reporting Lead in the execution of issuing the Bank’s Sustainability Disclosures report following global sustainability reporting best-practices and standards/frameworks (e.g., International Sustainability Standards Boards (ISSB), Taskforce on Nature-Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).
What you’ll do
- Support the ESG Reporting Senior in executing the Sustainability Disclosures Implementation Plan and coordinating related reporting activities.
- Contribute to sustainability reporting processes, including data collection, validation, metric calculation (e.g., financed GHG emissions), and preparation of reporting materials.
- Review and align sustainability metrics and disclosures across multiple reporting frameworks, developing internal checklists to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Support the development of a Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials Standards (PCAF) PCAF aligned methodology for measuring financed emissions from liquidity investments and the Bank wide implementation of sustainability reporting software.
- Assist with cross departmental coordination, status reporting, and internal communications to track deliverables, timelines, and review processes.
What you'll need
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Sustainability, or related disciplines. Certifications in ESG reporting and financing are desired.
- Experience: Between 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in finance, sustainability and environmental related reporting, working with multilateral financial institutions, international non-government organizations, government agencies, or the private sector.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is preferable.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Knowledge and experience calculating and working with ESG metrics.
- Ability to build reports, presentations, and ESG data files.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, within a professional services business environment.

International consultant Full-Time, 12 months (up to 48 months).
