As an established global knowledge brokerage, the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP) is a global community of policy, business, and finance professionals and organisations committed to collaboratively generating, managing, and sharing knowledge on the transition to an inclusive green and circular economy. The GGKP is led by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and the World Bank. The mission of GGKP is to empower government decision makers, companies and financial institutions with evidence-based knowledge that can best support them to contribute effectively to the green and circular economy transition. The core focus of GGKP as a knowledge brokerage is to provide practitioners, policymakers, and other experts with opportunities to access, share, and apply green and circular economy policy analysis, guidance, information, and data though world-class knowledge management and application systems and tools In addition to its three platforms and the Green Forum, GGKP also provides targeted knowledge management, communication and stakeholder engagement services for global projects funded under the Global Environment Facility (GEF). These include the global child project of the Financing Agrochemical Reduction and Management (FARM) programme, which aims to strengthen the sound management of agricultural chemicals and their waste, through better control, and reduction and / or elimination. A consultant is sought to support the GGKP in the establishment of a value chain-based facilitation mechanism designed to strengthen suppliers and retailers’ capacity to implement sustainability actions that align with technical, regulatory, value-chain and investment efforts. The initiative connects and empowers existing technical assistance (TA) initiatives, corporates, and suppliers through a shared, AI-powered knowledge ecosystem to ensure suppliers receive coherent, demand-driven support. To deliver the outputs, the consultant will engage in the following activities: Stakeholder engagement — Build and maintain active relationships with key stakeholders including corporations, TA initiatives, business coalitions, and FARM partners and child projects, ensuring all actors are actively engaged under the facilitation mechanism and understand its purpose and value, and that engagement activities are aligned with programmatic gender components. Communication and outreach — Working with the GGKP communications team, develop accessible materials that clearly present the facilitation mechanism to diverse audiences, supporting awareness-raising, advocacy campaigns and the ongoing onboarding of new participants. Facilitated multi-stakeholder engagement — Develop and convene structured meetings, roundtables, and workshops that bring corporations and TA initiatives relevant to the agri-food value chain together to share knowledge and identify complementarities, ensure alignment with Gender related activities, and build the relationships needed for effective collaboration and advocacy campaigns. Pilot project development and support — Facilitate the identification of initial collaborative projects that connect corporates with TA providers to deliver practical sustainability support to suppliers. Knowledge capture and dissemination — Document lessons, insights, and early results from the Agri-food activities and disseminate to key target audiences.
