The WBG Corporate Solutions Department (ITSCO) is focused on the digital transformation of essential corporate services to ensure WBG operations are seamless, resilient, and future ready. Uniting digitalization roadmaps, experience design, process optimization, application delivery, systems management, and technology modernization across some 170 products and services, the department links business ambition with operational excellence—from intuitive employee experiences and precision payroll to data-driven decision making, intelligent automation, and AI enablement. The Corporate Digital Acceleration unit accelerates digital transformation for corporate business functions through design thinking, digital innovation, rapid prototyping, reimagining processes, and AI enablement, e.g. AI-first work digitalization strategies.
Role Purpose:
The Associate Technology Innovation Officer is responsible for the execution of the organization’s digital strategy and coordinates digital transformation initiatives aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
With limited supervision, this role collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement emerging technologies, redesign processes, develop best practices, and identify opportunities for digitization. The incumbent researches and evaluates emerging technologies, industry developments, and market trends to identify digital business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
AI-First Redesign
• Leads the shift toward AI-first corporate operations by helping reimagine legacy business processes, user experiences, and application architectures so that AI capabilities are integrated at the core rather than layered onto legacy systems.
Strategic Innovation and Performance Improvement
• Contributes to the execution of digital and technology-enabled innovation strategies to improve organizational performance and competitiveness
• Evaluates potential innovation initiatives for feasibility, impact, and resource requirements
• Identifies risks associated with innovation initiatives to support successful implementation
Market Research and Trend Analysis
• Analyzes market trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement
• Collaborates with external organizations to leverage innovation best practices
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to execute innovation initiatives aligned with business objectives
• Monitors project progress to ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Promotes a culture of creativity and collaboration through workshops, events, and idea-sharing initiatives

Selection Criteria
Education and Experience:
• Requires a Master’s degree with 5 years of experience or a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Uses process analysis techniques to evaluate improvement opportunities and prioritize automation initiatives based on business value.

Contributes to implementing RPA, AI agents, and data-driven solutions that reduce manual effort and accelerate process execution.

Helps teams understand the practical application of automation technologies and contributes to building an AI-enabled operating model.
