THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Head, Procurement, the Lead, Procurement is responsible for driving measurable procurement value through expert negotiation, advanced analytics, and deep procurement systems expertise. The role integrates category strategy, supplier relationship management, analytics, and technology enablement to support value for money, governance, sustainability, and risk management across the Foundation’s multi-country operations.

WAYS YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE
- Lead complex, multi-country supplier negotiations and contracting activities.
- Collaborate to develop and execute global and category-level procurement strategies.
- Develop customer-centric (end-user) end-to-end procurement process.
- Design and maintain procurement analytics, dashboards, and performance frameworks.
- Provide data-driven insights to support sourcing, governance, and decision-making.
- Oversee supplier performance management, supplier relationship management frameworks, and contract lifecycle management (CLM).
- Ensure compliance with policies, delegated authorities, and audit requirements.
- Progress integration of principles such as ESG, ethical sourcing, and inclusiveness into procurement sourcing strategies.
- Continuously review processes, systems, and procedures for all areas of responsibility by studying workflow, sequence of operations, roles, turnaround times and requirements to improve operations and service for all areas of responsibility.
- Prepare and present analysis regarding value for money and efficiencies.
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Analytics, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification preferred (MCIPS, CPA/ACCA, CSCP).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, analytics, or category management.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, supplier governance, and value delivery.
- Strong experience with ERP
- Expertise in procurement platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP Ariba, Coupa, etc).
- Advanced procurement analytics and cost modeling.
- Deep procurement systems and sourcing technology expertise.
- Contract negotiation and supplier performance management.
- Proficiency in ERP software like Workday (ERP), Service Now and Microsoft Excel and other relevant digital tools.
- Familiarity with best-in-class contract life cycle and risk management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Impeccable integrity that exemplifies the Foundation’s values.
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities.
- Possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate information to a variety of constituents across cultures.
The annual salary for this position is within the range of $125 000 to $140 000 (CAD) commensurate with experience, skills, and internal equity considerations.
