INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The Center for Thought Leadership (CTL) is looking for an Intern to support CTAF’s global showcase and communications activities. Reporting to the relevant CTAF supervisors, the Intern will help develop visual communication materials and multimedia content to present CTAF’s activities, outputs, and impact to global audiences.

The candidate will contribute to the design and production of brochures, visual assets, and videos that strengthen CTAF visibility and outreach, while gaining practical experience in communications and creative production in an international organization setting.

The intern will perform the following tasks, but not limited to:

  • Support the design and development of brochures, presentation materials, and other visual communication products for CTAF.
  • Assist in producing and editing videos and digital content to showcase CTAF activities and achievements.
  • Translate technical and programmatic content into clear, engaging, and audience-friendly visual materials.
  • Support the preparation of branding, layout, and reports for CTAF events and global showcase activities.
  • Help organize and maintain communication assets, templates, source files, and visual content libraries.
  • Contribute to other CTAF communications and outreach tasks, as required.
  • Undertake other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

 

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Be enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree or in a Master’s degree program prior to the internship assignment or be a recent graduate within the last 12 months.
  • Academic background in graphic design, visual communications, media, communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and InDesign.
  • Experience in brochure design, visual layout, and multimedia content production.
  • Strong creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with both visual and written content.
  • Excellent written English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Familiarity with AI based Image and video editing tools, such as Nanobanana.
  • Experience in creating contents for social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and X.
SELECTION PROCESS
  • Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
  • GGGI evaluates applications based on eligibility requirements, relevance of academic background and experience, and motivation to contribute to development work.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Duration: The internship program is for at least three months and up to six months. Once selected, interns must begin their internship either prior to or within 12 months of graduation. 

Stipend: GGGI interns receive a monthly stipend of USD $500 per month (unless agreed to be funded by sponsoring institutions). All costs related to travel, insurance, accommodation, and living expenses must be borne by either the interns themselves or sponsoring institutions.  

Visa: GGGI will provide a supporting letter for visa. Interns will be responsible for obtaining and financing the necessary visas.  

Travel: Intern will arrange and finance their travel to the internship location.  

Medical Insurance: Interns must present proof of valid medical insurance to GGGI upon returning the signed internship contract.

Confidentiality: Interns must keep confidential any and all unpublished information obtained during the course of the internship and may not publish any documents based on such information.  

Academic Credit: Interns may get academic credit from their institution of higher education for the internship. Interns need to check with their university to confirm their academic credit policy for internships.  

Working Hours: interns are expected to work during normal working hours. Leave should be pre-approved by the Intern Manager, and the latter should inform the Office of HR accordingly.

Learning Outcomes: before completion of the internship, Intern Managers are expected to review the learning outcomes with the intern.

Certificate: provided upon successful completion of the internship, upon request.
