MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Safe and efficient transportation of IRC staff and materials
  • Care and maintenance of IRC vehicles and their accessories
  • Professional representation of IRC
  • Strict adherence to IRC vehicle rules and procedures, including mandatory seatbelt use by all passengers
  • Daily vehicle inspections
  • Accurate completion of the vehicle logbook
  • Keeping the vehicle clean, fueled, and mechanically sound
  • Inspection and servicing of all vehicle accessories
  • Reporting incomplete inspections, insurance renewals, or any defects or issues to the supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Complete secondary education; vocational or technical education

Work experience: Minimum two years of professional driving experience; confident driving skills with manual transmission vehicles

Required skills and abilities:

  • Valid Category B driver’s license
  • No significant traffic violations or road-safety-related convictions
  • Basic English is highly desirable
  • Ability to pass the IRC driving test for manual transmission
  • Basic computer skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION

  • This position requires full-time work in the office
  • Business travel may account for up to 30% of working time
  • Occasional weekend work may be required
