POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To ensure the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of the Bank’s facilities through the comprehensive management of projects, maintenance, and sustainability initiatives, guaranteeing regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and business continuity.
GENERAL REQUIREMENT: Must be based in Honduras.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent / Master’s degree or equivalent, or a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least two additional years of experience beyond the position’s baseline requirement.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED BY THE JOB:
- Solid experience in the comprehensive management of infrastructure projects, facilities maintenance, and sustainability initiatives within institutional or financial environments, aligned with international quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Expertise in environmental management systems, energy efficiency, and business continuity, ensuring regulatory compliance and resource optimization at a regional level.
- Proven ability to coordinate teams, oversee contracts, manage operational risks, and lead technological and environmental initiatives that strengthen institutional resilience and efficiency.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum professional experience: 4 years.
FUNCTIONS:
- Lead the comprehensive management of infrastructure projects, maintenance, and sustainability initiatives, ensuring business continuity, operational efficiency, and compliance with institutional regulations.
- Implement, monitor, and audit environmental and quality management systems under ISO standards (14001, 9001, 19011), including eco-efficiency indicators, carbon footprint tracking, and environmental reporting.
- Support the development and execution of energy efficiency, resource optimization, and environmental certification projects (LEED, carbon neutrality, solar photovoltaic energy).
- Manage the feasibility, execution, and oversight of regional investment and facility improvement projects, ensuring control of costs, timelines, and quality.
- Oversee comprehensive facilities and smart building maintenance, including annual operating plans (AOP), outsourced contracts, and continuity of critical services.
- Coordinate operational procurement, payments, and contracting processes related to projects and maintenance, using institutional administrative platforms.
- Design and implement physical, environmental, and security controls in data centers and technological infrastructure, enhancing operational resilience.
- Support business continuity efforts, including emergency plans, DRP (Disaster Recovery Plans), incident management, fire brigades, and operational and strategic risk assessments.
- Assume supervisory and coordination functions in the absence of the Projects and Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring continuous operations and achievement of strategic objectives.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
- Advanced knowledge of drafting/design software and standard office applications.
- Knowledge of infrastructure investment project management.
- Technical knowledge of electrical installations and networks.
- Knowledge of electromechanical systems.
- Knowledge of data networks and telephony (structured cabling).
- Knowledge of computerized automation of equipment and systems.
- Knowledge of renovations, modular partitions, and related activities.
- Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems.
