As a YP, you will collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and institutions, applying your expertise to help address pressing development challenges and improve lives around the world. 
 
YPs join the World Bank Group on an initial two-year term contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. During this period, YPs complete three eight-month rotations: one with their primary function and area of expertise, one cross-institutional rotation, and at least one rotation based in a country office. These assignments enable YPs deepen their technical and operational knowledge while gaining experience across different areas of the institution. 
 
Through the YP Academy, YPs undertake a structured learning and development journey that includes technical and operational training, language programs, negotiation and business skills, and leadership development. They also receive individual coaching, connect with mentors, and participate in strategic dialogues with senior leaders. 

The ITS Country Engagement unit (ITSCE) provides digital support for global and country-specific products, aiding thousands of task teams and country management units in better planning, tracking, and managing their operations, thereby improving country engagement. Additionally, ITSCE enables geospatial capabilities through self-service tools and analytics, allowing teams to monitor project preparation and implementation from anywhere.  

What You’ll Deliver 

• Support planning, coordination, and delivery of strategic initiatives across the ITSCE portfolio. 
• Conduct business analysis, process improvement, and requirements gathering activities. 
• Support coordination of stakeholder engagement across operational, business, and technology teams. 
• Develop management presentations, briefing notes, reports, and outreach materials. 
• Monitor project milestones, risks, dependencies, and performance indicators. 
• Support portfolio governance, planning exercises, change management, and communications activities. 
• Facilitate collaboration across geographically distributed teams and business partners.

What You Will Bring 

• A minimum of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, International Development, Information Systems, Project Management, or related fields. 
• 2–6 years of relevant professional experience. 
• Experience in program management, business operations, business analysis, strategy, or digital transformation. 
• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. 
• Experience coordinating complex initiatives involving multiple teams and priorities. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
