ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT 

This position is based in Harare and reports to the Head of Supply Chain.    

THE ROLE
To provide coordinated analytical, administrative and information-management support to Supply Chain management, strengthening supplier relationship management, contract and operational performance monitoring, On-Demand Services coordination, planning, reporting and management follow-up.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive):

  • Support the implementation of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives, including supplier engagement, performance management and continuous improvement activities.
  • Maintain supplier records and SRM documentation, ensuring supplier profiles, correspondence, performance data and related information are accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance, tracking performance issues, corrective actions, improvement plans and contractual obligations across supply chain service providers.
  • Coordinate supplier and stakeholder engagements, including performance reviews, meetings, capacity-building activities, action tracking and issue resolution.
  • Support supplier mapping, market analysis, onboarding and due diligence activities through the collection, validation and management of relevant information and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, trackers and reporting tools to monitor supplier performance, contracting activities, service delivery and operational effectiveness.
  • Analyse operational, supplier and service performance trends, identifying risks, bottlenecks and improvement opportunities and providing recommendations for management action.
  • Prepare periodic performance reports and management information products, including scorecards, analytical reports, presentations, briefing materials and executive updates.
  • Serve as the coordination focal point for Supply Chain On-Demand Services, monitoring service requests, service delivery performance and customer feedback to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and track service utilization, customer satisfaction, revenue generation and related performance indicators.
  • Provide coordination and administrative support to Supply Chain leadership, including the management of meetings, action trackers, work plans, audits, reviews and management missions.
  • Maintain records, reporting systems and documentation standards, ensuring compliance with organizational requirements and effective knowledge management across the Supply Chain function.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, Data Analysis, or a related field is desirable.

Experience: At least 5 Years related job experience.

Knowledge and Skills:
•    Experience in maintaining supplier, contract, service-delivery or operational per-formance records and trackers.
•    Experience in data analytics and preparation of dashboards, scorecards, manage-ment reports, presentations or briefing materials.
•    Experience in coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, service providers, cus-tomers or partners.
•    Experience using corporate information systems and applying document-management and compliance requirements.

Language: Fluency (level C) in the UN language in use at the duty station and in the duty station’s language, if different.
