The Corporate Governance (CG) Advisory Analyst is a project management and coordination function responsible for assisting in implementing CG Advisory projects in specific countries, with focus on implementing the SME Accelerator, including responsibilities over project-level results and development outcomes. The role reports to the CG Advisory Services (AS) Project Lead (PL). 
Duties and accountabilities:
•  Lead the coordination and roll out, under the supervision of the local CG AS PL, the SME Accelerator in the countries under their purview, with close coordination with the global team for high quality and consistent delivery, and with strong developmental outcomes, including gathering results data on SMEs implementing recommendations and job creation. 
•  Support analysis to assist CG AS officers in developing, implementing and monitoring advisory projects in line with IFC’s Advisory Governance Policies and Procedures. 
•  Assist in developing project documents (Concept Notes, Implementation Plans, Project Supervision Reports, Project Completion Reports), and updates on project progress, under the supervision of the PL. 
•  Supporting client engagement selection, documentation and systems, including conducting integrity due diligence (IDD), preparing legal agreements and legal cover memos for all counterparties that the projects engage with.
•  Monitoring of development results and collecting relevant evidence to substantiate project results using standard tools and platforms and entering results into iPortal. 
•  Internal system processing and liaising with corporate procurement for selecting and contracting individual contractors and firm vendors for the delivery of specific project activities as per components below. 
•  Liaising with finance officers to monitor project spending; assist in revising budgets and tracking contracts and payments. Entering financial information in IBIS. 
•  Specific support for each component includes:
Firm Level:
•  Assist in drafting proposals for clients, including budgeting using the pricing tool, entering IDD, drafting legal agreements with clients and filing legal cover memos, supporting IC/vendor selection for delivery. 
•  Organizing and participating in discussions with clients, preparing minutes and follow-up on next steps. 
•  Monitoring of development results and collecting relevant evidence to substantiate project results using standard tools and platforms (Client outcome and impact survey, Performance Indicator Scoring Tool and impact memo).
•  Entering firm results into project budgeting and reporting systems. 
Market level:
•  Assist in the selection and processing of market intermediaries, including drafting selection documentation, legal agreements, filing legal cover memos and other selection administration, supporting IC/vendor selection.
•  Coordinate logistics and support the delivery of capacity building activities for market intermediaries (institutes, associations, consulting firms, etc.) such as Training of Trainer and other capacity development workshops. 
•  Monitoring of development results and collecting relevant evidence to substantiate project results using standard tools and platforms (Partner reporting forms and Capacity Measurement Tool).
•  Entering market results into project budgeting and reporting systems. 
Regulatory level:
•  Assist in coordinating scope of work for regulatory partners, conducting and submitting IDD, drafting cooperation agreements, filing legal cover memos, supporting IC/vendor selection. 
•  Coordinate logistics and support the delivery of advice to regulators on improvements to CG-related laws and codes that will improve governance in the private sector.  
•  Monitoring of development results and collecting relevant evidence to substantiate project results using standard tools and platforms. 
•  Entering regulatory results into project budgeting and reporting systems. 

Selection Criteria

•  A degree in an area related to Corporate Governance, Business Administration, Law, Economics, Finance, Accounting/Audit, Environmental or Social management, or other relevant discipline.

•  At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a CG-related area, ideally in the private sector, private consulting firm or international organization. 
•  Track record in working with private sector firms or development partners across a range of industry sectors (including agribusiness, infrastructure and/or manufacturing) and/or CG standards.
•  Knowledge of IFC Corporate Governance methodology preferred. 
•  Strong research and analytical skills, ability to think strategically, analyze and synthesize diverse related data and information. Attention to detail. 
•  Strong organizational skills, with ability to prioritize, deal with frequent and unexpected changes, and work within tight timeframes.
•  Ability to communicate ideas clearly and confidently, articulate issues and recommend solutions. Demonstrates active listening skills. 
•  Excellent English written and spoken communication skills are essential.
•  Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships within and outside IFC.
