Job vacancies at LABRI - Lead-Acid Battery Recycling Initiative

The unsafe recycling of used lead-acid batteries (ULABs) is one of the world’s largest sources of lead poisoning. It disproportionately affects millions of people, especially children, in low- and middle-income countries. LABRI supports governments to strengthen ULAB recycling systems by combining local data, global best practices, and technical expertise. Our goal is to help design policies that transition recycling from toxic to safe, protecting both communities and the environment. Our vision is a world where every battery is recycled safely, and no community bears the cost of toxic waste.
