The use of AI in the sourcing of talents will be a game-changer for the whole impact sector. The Impactpool talent pool is growing at a high pace, and soon we gather more than 500’000 talents. Next year we will open up our pool for recruiters, to search the pool directly using the most modern AI technology available.
Our search will offer an extent of innovative that the impact sector has never seen before. Our algorithm is so smart, that in fact, you will just need to provide a job description and our AI algorithm will automatically go through 500’000 cv’s and within seconds find the best matching long list of candidates for you. This will completely revolutionise the way you source and recruit candidates and it will help you to find qualified women or talents from certain (under-represented) countries.
Right now we train and educate our algorithm and prepare it for the big release. However, in the meanwhile, we allow organisations to get a flavour of the capacity of our AI algorithm. At this stage our AI robot is not providing the lists automatically, we still need to feed it with data. During October our algorithm supported UN University (UNU) as well as OPCW and UN Women with senior executive outreaches.
Below is what the algorithm did and the results (so far).
OPCW recruits a Legal Adviser, D2
For this job, our AI robot was asked to find an International Legal adviser with the capacity to provide legal advice and support to the Director-General, the Divisions, and Branches of the Secretariat, and States Parties on a wide range of legal issues.
The AI robot was asked to look for talents with international law, disarmament law, international administrative law, and/or the legal aspects of the United Nations common system or the OPCW. It is also possible to ask the AI robot to target specific countries in the case of under-representation.
The position is at D2-level, hence we are looking for a leader with 15 years of experience. By feeding the algorithm with the requirement the AI algorithm identified 755 candidates that we contacted and invited to apply. OPCW have confirmed that several really promising applications are received. In addition to our own pool we have worked on smart social outreach and that is the main reason why the number of applicants is higher than the number we had in our own pool.
Results so far: The job is still open, but so far 2284 leaders have read the job description on Impactpool and 188 have applied.
UN Women recruits a Regional Director
For this job, a D1, our AI robot was asked to identify matching Arabic speaking leaders with 15 years of experience and Advance degree. The incumbent will oversee program management and monitoring of the UN Women projects/programs in the region. And also develop and manage the implementation of UN Women’s regional vision and strategy.
By feeding the algorithm with the requirements the AI algorithm identified 1175 candidates in our pool that we contacted and invited to apply. In addition to our own pool we have sourced via social channels and that is the reason why the number of applicants is higher than the number we had in our own pool.
Results so far: The job is still open, but so far 1792 leaders have read the job description on Impactpool and 254 have applied.
UNU recruits and Director, United Nations University Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology
The UN University is recruiting a position at the director’s level (D1) requiring a Ph.D. with duty station in Maastricht, Netherlands. In this capacity, our AI robot was looking for candidates that have served as Chief Academic and Administration at an institute and had a doctorate qualification in the field of economics, public policy or innovation studies.
In addition to our own pool we have worked on smart outreach and that is the reason why the number of applicants is higher than the number we had in our own pool. By feeding the algorithm with the requirement the AI algorithm identified 352 candidates that we contacted and invited to apply.
Results so far: The job is still open, but so far 1344 leaders have read the job description on Impactpool and 66 have applied.
